Sweet Cakes has been open since December of 2008. 
Dena Wilson and her husband Jeff purchased the bakery in 2019. They jumped at the chance to continue the quality and imagination of this neighborhood bakery. Everyday our talented bakers and decorators prepare a wide variety of sweets, which include unique cupcakes, dessert bars, cake pops with gluten free, egg free and dairy free options.

We specialize in corporate events, private events and weddings. We will work with you to dream up a one-of-a-kind creation.

At Sweet Cakes, we are especially sensitive to customers who may approach eating uniquely due to allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions.
So while we utilize traditional baking methods and ingredients for some of our products, we also offer a wide variety of gluten-free items, incorporating potato starch, rice and tapioca flour as healthful alternatives to traditional flour in nearly 50% of our items. By focusing on the healthfulness of our ingredients and the integrity of our baking methods, we’ve created baked goods that let health-conscious customers enjoy wellness without sacrificing taste.
